Your church is a place where people can belong, grow, and serve.  As such, it’s not:

 

• a restaurant, even though you may serve coffee and doughnuts, 

• a hair salon, even though people can leave your services feeling like a new person on                          a a level that goes beyond appearances

• A doctor’s office, even though your church may be a place of healing for your community.

 

Of course, you already knew these things!  Sadly, Yelp doesn’t, and their algorithm treats reviews on all their listings- churches or businesses- with the same skeptical eye.  In fact, the more we review this church as if it is a business, the more likely our review will land in the “recommended” section.
