Gary serves as Senior Pastor at City of God overseeing ministry in both the Charlotte/Concord and Charleston Campus.

He is an accomplished musician with years of experience touring and accompanying professional artists.

 

Gary is a proud graduate of New Life Theological Seminary and an aspiring theologian. He is the proud father of 5 and resides with his wife in Charlotte, NC.

Sequeria Lawler is an 18 year veteran educator and support coach with the Charlotte Mecklenburg public school system. She has been a member of COG since 2006 and has served in various capacities including the finance team, mentoring programs, VBS, and ministry training  group. Sequeria also serves a an instructor for our new members course, Imparting the Vision.

 

She resides in Charlotte, NC along with her daughter Joycelyn. 

Tracy is a prophetic dancer and leads both the dance and mime ministry at COG.  Tracy is the proud owner of "Refuge Hair Spa", a spa-like relaxation destination for natural hair care. She also developed a custom line of natural hair care products to compliment the spa experience.

 

Tracy resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband, Carlos and is the proud mother of Jarrell & Ulyssa; and grandmother of Cobi.

Michelle boasts a passion for education and serves as Manager of CityKids, our ministry for kids ages 4-11. She passionately prepares lessons and activities to teach our children the Word and ways of God. We don't babysit, we worship with our children and Michelle, along with her volunteers ensure our children receive a strong faith foundation.

 

Michelle is currently pursuing a Masters in Education at UNCC. She lives in Charlotte with her daughter Jalah.

Myra serves a Lead Pastor overseeing ministry in both locations. She is an author, conference host, teacher, speaker, and life coach.

 

With extensive ministry experience in building and growing congregations, she brings a unique perspective on church leadership.

 

She is currently pursuing a MSW at Johnson C. Smith University and resides in Charlotte along with her husband and children.

Apostle Suber is an accomplished father in the Gospel with a D.Div degree from Jameson Christian College. He is a retired military veteran, nonprofit executive and former pastor.

Along with Apostle Rick Daniels and Lonnell Lawson, Apostle Suber co-founded the KIA ,an apostolic network of churches and businesses.

Aposlte is married to Vera Suber and now resides in Charlotte, NC.

Apostle & Mother Suber are former pastor's and current apostolic leaders in KIA Network, co-founded by Apostle Rick Daniels. Together, they passionately lead our ministry in caring for disciples during times of celebration, death, illness, and more. Additionally, Mother Suber leads a women's ministry mentoring and providing spiritual care monthly in Charleston, SC.

The Subers are the proud parents of  Thomas Jr. and Arcina and grandparents of ___.

Deaconess White serves as the primary resource for all of our Welcome Center team members. She brings over 30 years of banking and retail management experience to improving guest experiences at the City. She continues a lifetime of serving in ministry in various positions including supervising deacons state-wide in her former denomination.

Deaconess is the proud mother of four, Myra, Steven, LeShawn & LaShawn; grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Rona is an accomplished professional with career experience in law and financial services. She owns a nonprofit law firm and a church consulting firm, WebEP.

 

Rona currently works on staff at Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, NC as Project Coordinator for the Congregational Faith and Learning Center and is pursuing a M.Div. from Hood.

She is an advocate for pastors and leadership development within churches. 

Tyrone Davis is an MBA graduate of UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business and NC State University, Business Technology degree.  Today, he leads a data and business analyst team within a large utility company. In his spare time, Tyrone is actively involved in his community, sharing his passion about his faith, and managing his real estate investment portfolio.

 

He enjoys music, writing, and spending time with his wife and two children. Personal Motto: "I'm not perfect, but I'm willing."

Beatrice has dedicated her life to helping students find and follow Christ, preparing them for life and a lasting faith. Bea loves to help them discover for themselves who Jesus is and what an authentic relationship with Him looks like.

 

She is a licensed Chaplain and serves those in need of spiritual care during times of bereavement.

 

Bea loves adventure and creativity, seeing something come from nothing.

With an extensive career in health care administration and Master's Degree in Public Health, Ann advocates for health and wellness with a specialty in HIV-AIDS care. She writes extensively for healthcare publications and served as Executive Director of several healthcare and public charities. Ann is a published author, adjunct faculty, and accomplished health professinal.

 

She has one daughter, Kelleigh, who shares her passion for public health.
