Bio
For many years Apostle Gary was known as a skilled musician with the call of God upon his life to usher in the presence of the Lord through prophetic music. His musical abilities are a gift from the Lord. Gary has played for some of the most renowned preachers and musical artists of our time. While music opened the door for many ministry experiences, in 1995 the Lord made clear to Pastor Bellinger that he was not called only to the ministry of music, but also to the ministry of the Word.
In 2002, Apostle Bellinger along with his wife, Apostle Myra Bellinger began The City of God Ministries in Charlotte, NC and Charleston, SC. One church, two locations. With this mandate, God gave Apostle Bellinger an Apostolic anointing, a ministry of deliverance with a heart for worship. He believes that his assignment is to change atmospheres, assist in transforming lives and to teach the restorative message of developing right relationship with the Father. Gary earned a BA in from New Life Theological Seminary and is an aspiring theologian.
Apostle Gary along with his wife currently reside in Charlotte, NC; and is the proud father of Jasmine, Sylver, Cameron, David and Maya.
Living life on purpose, with purpose, Apostle Myra L. Davis-Bellinger is a teacher and mentor with over 24 years of experience preaching the Gospel and serving in full-time ministry. This native New Yorker holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Winthrop University, with a concentration in Mass Communications and a Masters of Social Work from Johnson C. Smith University.
Her ministry is multifaceted, with a special ability to bridge the gap between races, ages, and denominations. Myra is known for teaching life changing principles that provokes individuals to live a life of fulfillment by practically applying Truth. God has given Myra a testimony and has freed her from many forms of abuse and emotional addictions. Her ministry of restoration and deliverance comes forth with a tangible anointing to minister to the bruised and broken-hearted.
She has been gifted with a myriad of talents including singing, administration, and writing. Not only is she a Pastor and teacher, Myra is also an author and a businesswoman. She has authored several administrative guides for churches and non-profits. She is the founder of “Operation: Raise the Standard”, a training institute designed to take local churches & businesses to the next level of excellence through leadership structuring, strengthening, and training.
Myra takes much pride and is humbled above all, by her first ministry of being a wife and mother. Myra is happily married to Apostle Gary L. Bellinger. They presently reside in Charlotte, NC with there son, David Josiah & daughter, Maya Zoe. They are the proud Shepherds of City of God Ministries International both Charlotte, NC and Charleston, SC campus.
